Description:

This five-day seminar for teachers, administrators, and curricular supervisors will focus on Korean history and culture, providing information, lessons, and other resources. Participants will learn from prominent scholars and films. Activities will include dining at one of Koreatown's finest restaurants, viewing Korean art, observing Korean dance, and seeing a traditional wedding ceremony. Educators of all disciplines and grade levels are welcome.

Oakland's Greywater Guerrillas will inspire, englighten, and inform you how to disengage from the water grid with rainwater and greywater. The workshop will connect local water issues with global water concerns, help participants view rainwater as a resource, review the reuse of greywater, and provide information about waterless toilets.
